Well you can't manually use SoC because Unstable Affliction uses up all Soul Shards as i've seen.<br/>
At the moment AoE is "possible" for me by DoT'ing all Targets and switching to the second ability bar, where SoC replaces Unstable Affliction.<br/>

Hello there

Is there any way that Affliction Warlock is using AoE?

At the moment it does not spread the DoTs to nearby target, also there is no key for Seed of Corruption in the maxDPS app, so you can not run mythic+ dungeons at all :/

Doesn't work as you described with checking the buff and using whirlwind on it's own after 1 manual use :/
